Car Sharing
Our WhatsApp group was formed to arrange ad-hoc car sharing for members of Staines Ramblers.
Members can offer car sharing starting from any location locally or can request/accept a place.
This is particularly useful when the walk starts some distance away from Staines or where there is limited parking at the start of the walk.
Passengers usually make a voluntary contribution, currently 20p per mile (calculated on the outward journey), towards fuel expenses and this should be arranged with the driver.

Joining the WhatsApp group
You need to be a member of Staines Ramblers to join the WhatsApp group.
If you want to join the group, you will need a smartphone with WhatsApp installed.
Then contact our WhatsApp administrator giving your phone number and asking to join the Staines Ramblers WhatsApp group.
