Our group walking holiday to the Kingswood & Devoran Hotel Hotel in Sidmouth at the end of December was a wonderful way to bring in the New Year.

The holiday was organised by Joy Johnson, who also led two of the walks. These included a local walk around Sidmouth on arrival day and a circular walk up to Peak Hill, including Muttersmoore, Bulverton Hill, Sidford for lunch then back along "The Byes" on New Years Eve. John Gridley led a short circular walk along the Seafront, up the River Sid, then heading towards the coastal path and Salcombe Hill on New Years Day. The holiday included a Dinner Dance on New Years Eve and 'Robin Hood & his Merry Men!' at the Manor Pavilion Theatre on New Years Day.
