Our group walking holiday to the Chilworth Manor Hotel in Hampshire at the end of December was an excellent way to celebrate New Year.

The holiday was organised by Joy Johnson, who also led the walks. These included an extensive walk around the grounds of the hotel on arrival day, a walk along the Solent Way (Itchen Bridge, Netley Abbey and Royal Victoria Country Park) on New Year's Eve and a circular walk at Lyndhurst (Bolton's Bench) in nice weather on New Year's Day. The holiday included a Black Tie Dinner Dance on New Year's Eve.
