Our group walking holiday to the Grosvenor Hotel at Stratford-upon-Avon was an excellent trip
The holiday and the walks were organised by Mike Heather, with individual walks led by a further three leaders. There was a walk around Stratford on the first day, just get our bearings, followed by outings to Clifford Chambers, Wilmcote and Wootton Wawen, and Henley-in-Arden. The weather was mainly dry and ideal for walking.
The area has many connections with William Shakespeare, and several of our walkers went to see 'Julius Caesar' in the evening at the nearby Royal Shakespeare Theatre.
