Our group walking holiday to the Wessex Hotel in Bournemouth was a marvellous event with the most walkers to date for a Staines Ramblers holiday.

The walks were organised by John Russell, but with individual walks led by a further seven leaders. So there was a choice of three walks each day on the main walking days. The Purbeck Way featured in several walks, but there were also outings to Ringstead, the New Forest, Kimmeridge and Brownsea Island, plus some local walks starting from the hotel. The weather was excellent for the time of year and ideal for walking.
